Our Mission Statement

Empowerment Services, LLC. has a functional and unique way of empowering those with disabilities through individualized instruction to enhance daily living skills, pre-vocational employment skills, safety, community, self management and self advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. We strive to encourage independence for each of our clients and provide assistance (when necessary) using the community as our greater "classroom" when appropriate. Most, but not all, of our clients, are considered to be on the "Autism Spectrum". Every client receives a highly programmed and structured day, to accommodate the individual's areas of need and learning styles. All goals are based on and determined by ISP or IEP team and listed in the individuals BSP (Behavioral Support Plan).

Empowerment Services was built upon the idea that every individual deserves quality of life and the right to function in society safely, and we have continued to build our reputation through example. Nearly all staff at Empowerment Services, LLC. have personal experience with individuals with disabilities and continue to receive new, updated information and training.

Empowerment Services founder Marie Johnson has been driven to promote, encourage and empower individuals with disabilities since her brother Mike Johnson was born with a developmental disability. Mike was a huge positive aspect of her life, which created a love and understanding of those with different-abilities.
